Franck Carron was born in 1945 in the Rhône-Alpes region of France. He studied at the École des Beaux Arts in Geneva, and
at the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris (better known as the "Arts-déco"). After
completing his studies, he exhibited his work throughout France and in many other countries. He later established his
own school of painting and hosted broadcasts about street art.
After enlivening Paris, Deauville and Saint-Tropez with his glittering galleries, and rubbing shoulders with well-known
personalities, especially from the entertainment world, he settled permanently in Brittany.
This great master knows how to make the most of the differences between colors, and his use of lighting effects places
him within the tradition of the great impressionists, of whom he is one of last representatives in France. Thirty years
of creative output barely reveal the extent of his immense talent and love for painting.
The subtlety of his pointillist brushstrokes, his realism, his mastery of the technique of layering glazes, as well
as his ability to create strokes using brush and knife together, are endlessly fascinating to art lovers and collectors
from around the world. For many years, his work has been well-received in Paris, as well as in Germany, Canada, the
United States, Japan, Switzerland, Holland, England and Italy.
Franck Carron creates most of his works as visions. A brief excursion to the Alpilles, or a walk by the sea, allows the
artist to drink in an image that he will recreate from memory in the studio. Thanks to an incredible visual memory, he
brings back to life the images that he recalls from his various travels. As a result, his canvasses represent a wide
variety of subjects: Greece, Venice and Provence among others.
This well-known artist has been officially listed in the Akoun reference guide to art prices for many years. A wide
range of investors, including several major banks, have placed their confidence in him, and his canvasses figure in many
prestigious private collections. Franck Carron's art is a secure investment.
